Covid-19 Vaccination Update
December 18, 2020

Dear Residents and Resident Families,
We are writing to update you on the status of the COVID-19 vaccine at LindenGrove. Each of our facilities (rehabilitation, long term care, memory care and assisted living apartments) has enrolled in the federal program for long term care providers to receive the vaccine in the initial distribution phase. Through that program, we have partnered with Walgreens who will receive and administer the vaccine to our residents and staff onsite at our facilities.
The vaccine will be offered to all residents and staff at no cost. The federal government determines the timing of the vaccine allocation, and we anticipate our rehabilitation and long term care residents will be allocated the vaccine first, followed by our memory care and assisted living apartment residents. As we learn more about the timing of the vaccine allocation at our campuses, we will communicate that information to you.
It is our understanding that the vaccine will be the Moderna vaccine, which requires two injections at least 28 days apart. We will provide additional information about the vaccine when we receive it. Starting next week, our staff will begin reaching out to residents and families to discuss the vaccination process, answer questions and obtain consent.
We urge all residents and staff to be vaccinated, and continue with safe practices of good hand hygiene, mask wearing and social distancing. Thank you for your patience as we work with Walgreens to define the next steps in this process.
Sincerely,

Linda Joel, President & CEO
LindenGrove Communities
