LindenGrove Makes National List

LindenGrove Communities in New Berlin Named "Top Performing" by U.S. News & World Report

LindenGrove Communities in New Berlin has been named to the 2017-2018 “Best Nursing Homes” list by U.S. News & World Report. This is the third time in four years the New Berlin campus has been named to the list, which was published on Oct. 31.

“We’re proud to once again be honored as one of America’s best,” said David Marggraf, the administrator at LindenGrove’s New Berlin campus. “We pride ourselves on sharing kindness, compassion and love on a daily basis in the care we provide. This award is a testament to our extraordinary caregivers, care partners, leaders and volunteers. Without their selfless dedication, this award would never have been achieved.”

Just 15 percent of the more than 15,000 skilled nursing facilities in the nation receive the “Top Performing” honor.  U.S. News assigns each facility a rating from 1.0 to 5.0 using its own analysis of data published by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. In addition to viewing CMS overall star ratings, U.S. News & World Report takes into consideration performance over time by averaging the CMS star ratings over a 12-month span, as well as putting greater emphasis on medical quality measures and on providing rehabilitation services.

The New Berlin campus has a strong history of providing quality care. Last year, the New Berlin campus received a perfect survey from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services in his annual health inspection.
