LindenGrove CEO Elected to LeadingAge Wisconsin Board of Directors
LindenGrove President and CEO Linda Joel was elected to the LeadingAge Wisconsin Board of Directors earlier this month at its annual business meeting in Wisconsin Dells.
LeadingAge Wisconsin is a trade association of 195 nonprofit organizations dedicated to serving older adults and adults with disabilities.
Joel, who joined LindenGrove in May of 2015, will serve a three-year term on the 16-person board.
“Despite being a relatively newcomer to our State, Linda immediately impressed her peers with her working knowledge of the changing payment and delivery systems and commitment to providing the highest level of quality care and services,” said John Sauer, President of LeadingAge Wisconsin. “She will be an important addition to the LeadingAge Wisconsin Board of Directors as the Association helps its members thrive in the challenging long-term care and services environment.”
A native of west Michigan, Joel has almost two decades of experience leading healthcare services in Michigan, Florida and Wisconsin.
LindenGrove, which has campuses in Menomonee Falls, Mukwonago, New Berlin and Waukesha, has a history of leadership participation in LeadingAge Wisconsin. Michael Zimmerman, the current administrator at the LindenGrove New Berlin campus, served two terms on the board from 1989 to 1995, including serving as board president from 1993 to 1995. Vern Larson, administrator at LindenGrove Mukwonago, served on the board from 1997-2002 and again from 2010 to 2016.
