LindenGrove Communities Has 3 Memory Care Homes throughout Waukesha County
LindenGrove Communities has three small-scale Memory Care Homes where individuals with early to mid-stage dementia feel secure in a home familiar to them. Our memory care homes are located at our communities in Mukwonago, New Berlin and Waukesha. Each memory care home is licensed as a CBRF (Community Based Residential Facilities) with 24 private bedrooms.
When our small-scale memory care residential homes were first built, they were a model for care throughout the country. Nearly 20 years later, this same small-house concept continues to be considered best practice in providing quality care for persons with dementia and memory loss.
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are on-site with the residents 24/7. A registered nurse is on-site weekdays and on-call at all times. There is a comfortable sense of connection between the care-giving staff and residents.

LindenGrove Communties Offers the Comforts of Home with Memory Care
The small-house setting of our memory care homes provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Each private bedroom is furnished and includes a half-bath. The living room has bookshelves, a fireplace, and large flat screen TV. Meals are served family-style in the kitchen where staff members eat around the table with the residents. A non-intrusive monitoring system--a pleasant sound of chirping birds--alerts staff and keeps the residents safe.
Beautiful secure gardens allow for independence outdoors. Walking paths will take you under the pergola, and past the perennials, annuals, bird feeders, bird houses, and to the gazebo. The cat that lives at the memory care home or the dogs that come to work with their employee-owners are often outside with our memory care residents. We provide care that is above and beyond a nursing home facility.
The healthcare staff has specialized training in dementia care, evident by their tone of voice, compassionate care, and passion for their work. Resident activities occur on a routine basis that connect with lifelong experiences. Emphasis is placed on optimizing brain and body functions, and promoting independent tasks and personal abilities.
Family members are supported through this journey by compassionate staff, monthly support group meetings, and ongoing education. Our goal is to be an effective memory care partner with you as we work together to understand, appreciate, and accept the needs of your loved one.
